I am a graduate student in UCF's Texts and Technology Ph.D. program and am also the librarian at Mount Dora High School in Mount Dora, Florida.
My current research focuses on the ethics and aesthetics of representing traumatic events in the disaster archive. Inspired by personal stories and the collaborative efforts of the public and institutional experts, I am investigating both resilience to and exacerbation of "trauma culture" through the development and preservation of "disaster archives."
